Seymour Seed is the creative interpretation of a seed pod. Mathew believes seed pods are overlooked and underrated and he wanted to pay homage to the lowly pod. Made from Sycamore the pod has been initially turned, then hand carved, textured, stained and scorched. The inner stamens are made from Opepe and mounted on copper wire. The pod is freely mounted on a hand carved, scorched Mahogany leaf.
